The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board rejected the appeals of 35 football players who were penalized for betting actions. The board also rejected Galatasaray's appeal against the PFDK decisions following the match against Kocaelispor.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Appeals Board rejected the appeals of 35 football players who received penalties ranging from 3 to 12 months due to betting activities.
APPEALS OF 35 FOOTBALL PLAYERS REJECTED
According to a statement on TFF's website, the board unanimously rejected the appeals of the 35 football players against their penalties and upheld their sanctions. In addition to the appeals against the penalties, the board also unanimously rejected the requests for postponement of penalties from some players.
GALATASARAY'S APPEAL ALSO REJECTED
Galatasaray's appeal, which was fined by the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) after the league match against Kocaelispor, was also rejected by the Appeals Board. The PFDK imposed a total fine of 860,000 lira on the yellow-red club for ugly and bad chants amounting to 520,000 lira, for not leaving the stairwell spaces empty 120,000 lira, and for incidents caused by its fans 220,000 lira.
