The distribution of seats in the Parliament changed with the two members of parliament switching to the AK Party.

The 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the AK Party was celebrated yesterday with a ceremony attended by President Erdogan. Erdogan, who gave important messages at the event, personally pinned the badges on the 13 mayors and 2 members of parliament who joined their party.

WHO ARE THE DEPUTIES JOINING THE AK PARTY?

Seyithan İzsiz and Ahmet Ersagun Yücel, Istanbul deputies who resigned from the Good Party after the May 14 elections and continued their work independently, joined the AK Party.

CHAIR DISTRIBUTION HAS CHANGED

With the two deputies who resigned from the Good Party joining the AK Party, the distribution of seats in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey has changed. The Good Party, which has been constantly losing members and experiencing resignations, now has 32 seats in the parliament. CHP has 127, DEM has 57, and MHP has 50 deputies. With the addition of 2 deputies, the AK Party now has a total of 266 deputies.
