GENDARMERIE COMMANDER DIES IN WEAPON ACCIDENT
Lieutenant Ali Kablan, who served as the District Gendarmerie Commander in the Korkut district of Muş, lost his life in a weapon accident that occurred while he was performing maintenance on his weapon in his office. The body of Lieutenant Kablan, who was taken to Muş State Hospital for an autopsy, was brought to the garden of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command wrapped in the Turkish flag after the procedures.
FAREWELL TO HIS LAST JOURNEY
A ceremony was held at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command for the deceased Lieutenant Kablan. Prayers were recited during the ceremony where Kablan's biography was read. During the ceremony, the young officer's wife, Elif Kablan, could not hold back her tears, while Muş Governor Avni Çakır and officials tried to console her. The body of Lieutenant Kablan, who was a father of one child, was sent off to his hometown of Çorum after the ceremony.
Governor Avni Çakır, Muş Chief Public Prosecutor Hüseyin Kantar, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Özgür Özer, Provincial Police Chief Melih Kuzudişli, city protocol, soldiers, and many citizens attended the ceremony.
