The draft text has been reached! Eylem Tok in the USA will be extradited to Turkey.

In March, writer Eylem Tok, who fled to Egypt and then to the United States after hitting and causing the death of her 17-year-old son Timur Cihantimur with a luxury car she drove without a license, is now facing a draft text prepared for her extradition to Turkey without disrupting her current HTML.

"BEING EXTRADITED TO TURKEY"

The decision regarding whether Eylem Tok will be extradited to Turkey or not will be made on Wednesday, September 11, at 14:15 in the Massachusetts District Court in Boston. Journalist Emrullah Erdinç, who reached the draft report through Mehmet Sümer's X account, published the draft report and used the following statements: "The route has been determined. Eylem Tok is being extradited to Turkey. Deputy Prosecutor Kristen A. Kearney presented the draft decision text prepared by the US Department of State for the approval of Eylem Tok's extradition to Judge Donald Cabell before the hearing on September 11. The draft text explained the decision to extradite Tok to Turkey with its justifications.

"APPROVING HER EXTRADITION DUE TO DESTROYING EVIDENCE AND PROTECTING THE GUILTY"

"The draft decision announced by Mehmet Sümer from VOA Turkish was shared in a public environment one and a half months before the hearing. The decision text stated that the judge found the evidence from Turkey sufficient and said, 'I approve the extradition of Eylem Tok, who is a fugitive, to Turkey for violating Article 281 of the Turkish Penal Code by destroying, concealing, and altering evidence; and also for protecting the guilty in violation of Article 283 of the Turkish Penal Code. Until a more detailed decision is made regarding extradition and delivery by the US Secretary of State, I am handing her over to the law enforcement forces to be kept under surveillance during this period'."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Oğuz Murat Aci, 29, lost his life when 17-year-old Timur Cihantimur, who was driving a luxury car without a license, hit three ATV-type vehicles parked on the side of the road in March. After the accident, driver Timur Cihantimur was taken to Egypt and then to the US by his mother Eylem Tok.

An arrest warrant was issued for them. Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which initiated an investigation into the incident, issued an arrest warrant for Eylem Tok on charges of "protecting the guilty" and for Timur Cihantimur on charges of "causing death and injury by negligence" and requested a red notice to be issued for them.

THEY WERE CAPTURED IN AN OPERATION

Turkey had requested the extradition of the mother and son from the US last month. Timur Cihantimur and Eylem Tok, who were captured in an operation carried out by the police in Boston, USA on June 14, appeared before separate judges in the US. In previous hearings, their detention was extended.
