The clashes initiated by Druze militias in Syria's Suwayda province have revealed Israel's plan for a "terror corridor" extending from the Golan to the Euphrates. According to Syrian experts, the ultimate goal of this plan is to encircle Turkey's southern borders. The efforts of Israel-backed militias to unite the Latakia and Hasakah fronts could transform into a geopolitical encirclement directly targeting Turkey.
In southern Syria, the bloody clashes initiated by Druze militias in the Suwayda province are seen not only as a regional civil war crisis but also as the first step of Israel's long-term strategic plan. While militias loyal to the Israel-backed separatist Druze leader Hikmat al-Hajiri have killed hundreds of civilians in a week, tensions in the region have dangerously escalated.
CLEARY STATED: THE MAIN TARGET IS TURKEY
According to Syrian researcher Amar al-Isewi, the developments signify the launch of a major occupation project aimed at bringing Israel down from the Golan Heights to the Euphrates, referred to as the "David Corridor." Al-Isewi stated, "The Druze are merely an apparatus of this plan. The goal in Suwayda is to advance to the rural areas of Daraa and Quneitra to meet with the Israeli army. Afterwards, Latakia will be incited, and in the end, a connection will be established between YPG and Hasakah-Daraa. The plan to encircle Turkey from the south is operational on the ground."
AN INCOME OF 500 MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR
Al-Isewi also claimed that Druze leader al-Hajiri earns more than 500 million dollars a year through drug trafficking conducted via Hezbollah.
ISRAELI AIRCRAFT IN SUWAYDA SKIES
According to a report in the Turkey newspaper, a commander named Abu Abdullah from the Syrian army also stated that Israel is directly on the ground. The commander, who said, "They are constantly bombing our trenches and supply convoys. The war is not with the Druze, but with Israel," noted that the ultimate goal of the military activity in Suwayda is to sever Latakia from Damascus and reach the Turkish border along a joint line with the YPG.
"ISRAEL'S NEW NEIGHBOR WILL BE TURKEY"
Experts point out that Israel aims for a four-part Syria with the dreams of "Druzeistan" and "Kurdistan," indicating that this structure will directly border Turkey. The PKK/YPG's attempt to open a humanitarian corridor from Hasakah to Suwayda constitutes the northern leg of this plan.
Prof. Dr. Tevfik Erdem emphasized that "Israel's new neighbor will no longer be Syria, but Turkey," highlighting that the process aims to sabotage the vision of a "Terror-free Turkey." According to Erdem, in this process, the real struggle must be conducted against America, which holds the reins of Israel, not against Israel itself.
