Vural Çelik, who became memorable for his portrayal of the character 'Kubilay Peynircioğlu' in the series "Avrupa Yakası," passed away due to a heart attack, leaving the entertainment community in mourning. His commentary on the economy, in which he mentioned that he received a pension of 12,500 lira before his death, has gone viral once again.

The actor Vural Çelik, who had been suffering from heart problems for a while, passed away last night. The news of the famous actor's death was announced by his close friend Birol Güven, the General Director of Cinema at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

"I RECEIVE A SALARY OF 12,500 LIRA"

While Vural Çelik's death plunged his fans into mourning, videos he had previously recorded came back into the spotlight. In one of those videos, Çelik had said to the person in front of him, who stated that the hunger threshold was 19,000 lira, "According to this, I should be considered dead. I am retired and receive a salary of 12,500 lira. In fact, they should even remove me from the population registry."
