In Nevşehir, Hüseyin Ç. shot his ex-wife Mine Özcan with 7 bullets inside her vehicle. After the incident, the suspect surrendered to the gendarmerie.

The incident occurred in a parking lot located in Yeni Mahalle. According to the information obtained, Hüseyin Ç. followed Mine Özcan (28), whom he divorced about a month ago, in the morning. Mine Özcan was shot and killed by her ex-husband while she was parking her vehicle in the open parking lot. Hüseyin Ö., who fled the scene, confessed to his crime by surrendering to the gendarmerie in the evening hours in the Develi district of Kayseri.

The gendarmerie teams in Kayseri reported the situation to the Nevşehir Police Department's Homicide Bureau, and the teams went to the scene. In their investigation, they found Özcan motionless inside the parked vehicle. The medical team called to the scene confirmed that Mine Özcan had lost her life. After the examination conducted by the scene investigation teams, Özcan's lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Nevşehir State Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
