It has been revealed that famous actor Serhat Kılıç, found dead in his home in Istanbul's Kağıthane, left TRT 1's record-breaking series Teşkilat just before his death due to health problems. It was learned that Kılıç, who joined the new season cast, was diagnosed with a cervical hernia after check-ups one day before the series was to start shooting for the new season, and he left the project after his doctor did not allow him to take part in action scenes.
Famous actor Serhat Kılıç, who left the project due to health reasons just one day before the new season shootings of TRT 1's record-breaking series Teşkilat, was found dead in his home in Kağıthane.
It was learned that Kılıç, who was diagnosed with a herniated disc in his neck by his doctor in the series he had just joined, was not allowed to play in action scenes requiring high exertion, and thus parted ways with the production without ever stepping foot on set. The sad news, which came just one day after the 51-year-old actor announced his departure due to health problems, plunged the art world into mourning.
HIS DEPARTURE FROM TEŞKİLAT WAS ANNOUNCED 1 DAY BEFORE HIS DEATH
Serhat Kılıç, who joined the cast of Teşkilat's 7th season, was expected to appear before the audience with an important role in the new season. However, changes were made to the project due to the actor's health condition.
On September 4, that is, just one day before his death, news emerged that Kılıç had left the series a day before the shootings were to begin. It was stated that the actor could not attend the shootings planned to start that day due to his health problem.
HE HAD BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A HERNIATED DISC
It was reported that Kılıç was diagnosed with a herniated disc in his neck after medical check-ups. It was stated that his doctor did not deem it appropriate for him to go to the set for a while, especially due to physical exertion and action scenes.
It was noted that the actor, who was planned to undergo physical therapy for about 3 weeks, could not participate in the new season shootings of Teşkilat due to his health condition and parted ways with the production team.
FOUND DEAD AT HOME A DAY LATER
A day after the news of Kılıç's departure from Teşkilat was heard, this time came the news of his death.
The 51-year-old actor was found motionless in his home in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul by his girlfriend, who had not been able to reach him for about 1-2 days. Health teams dispatched to the scene determined that Kılıç had lost his life.
In the initial examinations, it was stated that no open wounds were found on Kılıç's body, but there were bruises around his eyes, arms, and legs. While an investigation has been launched to definitively determine the cause of death, the autopsy results are awaited.
