Yıldız Yatak, one of Turkey's leading mattress manufacturers, has declared concordat due to financial difficulties. Established in 1989 and based in Adana, the company has become one of the most affected companies by the economic crisis in Turkey. Yıldız Yatak, which applied to the Adana 1st Commercial Court to cope with its financial difficulties and requested concordat, came to the brink of bankruptcy during this process. FACTORY EMPLOYEES ARE WATCHING THE PROCESS WITH CONCERNAccording to the news on Halk TV; the court initially granted a temporary respite of 3 months for the company to improve its financial situation. However, the company, which could not improve its financial situation during this period, faced the extension of the concordat process for another 2 months with the court's decision. Employees working in Yıldız Yatak's 5,500 square meter modern production facilities are watching this process with concern. With the court's decision, the second concordat process started as of August 28th. This process is of critical importance for both the company's future and the job security of the employees.
