The incident occurred around 18:30 in a site located on Ebussuud Efendi Street in the central Meram district. According to the information obtained, Abdullah K., who works as a teacher at a private educational institution, followed his estranged wife Ebru Küçüktaşdemir, who is also a teacher at a private educational institution, to the site where she was to give private lessons. During a dispute between the two, Abdullah K. stabbed Ebru Küçüktaşdemir 17 times in various parts of her body with a knife he had with him.
DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS, SHE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While the police teams neutralized the suspect, the severely injured woman was taken to Meram State Hospital after the first intervention. Despite all the interventions performed here, Ebru Küçüktaşdemir could not be saved and lost her life. The detained suspect husband was taken to the police station for questioning. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
