The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has completed its work on the reformative service for the reliable preparation of lease agreements through the e-Government Gateway. The service will be launched shortly for tenants and landlords. The ministry units have finalized their preparations for lease agreement transactions to be provided through the e-Government Gateway. The work on the regulation of these agreements through e-Government was initiated based on citizens' requests for the resolution of disputes in this regard. TO BE LAUNCHED IN 2 PHASESIn the reformative work, the Ministry received support from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, as well as the Presidential Digital Transformation Office. According to the ministry's work, this service will be provided under the title "Lease Agreement Transactions" through the e-Government Gateway and will be launched in two phases. THE AGREEMENT WILL BE APPROVED BY THE TENANTIn the first phase, which will be opened to citizens shortly, the lease agreement prepared through the e-Government Gateway by the property owner, who is a real person, will be approved by the tenant again through e-Government. The second phase of the service will also be made available by the end of the year. Thus, real estate consultants and authorized persons will be able to prepare agreements and present them for approval by the property owner and the tenant. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION PROCESS WILL BE POSSIBLEWith the service, lease agreements will be created as time-stamped "barcode documents," and a document verification process will be possible. "TURKEY REAL ESTATE VALUE MAP" WILL BE CREATEDMinister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek indicated that this service will benefit all segments and stated the following: "Our citizens will be able to carry out lease agreement transactions quickly, easily, and reliably, independent of location, without time and document costs, through the e-Government Gateway. The application will provide citizens the opportunity to create agreements on a reliable government platform. It will also relieve our citizens from the burden of submitting lease agreements to institutions. Bureaucracy will be further reduced. Additionally, data will be provided for the creation of the Turkey Real Estate Value Map."
