A fire that broke out in a plastic injection factory located in an industrial site in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, is being brought under control with firefighting efforts that have lasted for 11 hours. There were no casualties in the fire that started on the 3rd floor of the building and spread rapidly due to the strong winds. The fire occurred around 04:00 at the plastic injection factory within the Mermerciler Industrial Site in Beylikdüzü district. According to the information obtained, the fire that started on the 3rd floor of the 6-story building quickly engulfed the entire building. The firefighting efforts have now reached the 11th hour as the fire grew due to the strong winds. Meanwhile, it has been reported that there was a collapse on the first and second floors of the building, and cracks appeared in the columns. Firefighters faced difficulties in their intervention due to the strong winds and rain, but they managed to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby factories. It has been confirmed that there were no casualties or injuries in the fire, and firefighting efforts are still ongoing.
