The first response from Turkey came to Uganda's Chief of General Staff Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who made threatening posts towards Turkey and then deleted them. Speaking after his party's Central Executive Board meeting, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik said, "Turkey has no problem with Uganda. The Chief of General Staff sometimes comes to the agenda with such statements, we cannot make sense of it."

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik responded to the statements of Uganda's Chief of General Staff Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who made threatening social media posts towards Turkey and then deleted them. Speaking after his party's Central Executive Board meeting, Çelik emphasized that Turkey has no issues with Uganda.

AK PARTY SPOKESPERSON ÇELİK: WE HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH UGANDA

Çelik reminded that Kainerugaba has previously made similar inconsistent statements. Çelik stated, "Turkey has no problem with Uganda. The Chief of General Staff sometimes comes to the agenda with such statements, we cannot make sense of it."

"CEASEFIRE APPLICATIONS BETWEEN IRAN AND THE USA SHOULD CONTINUE"

Highlights from Çelik's statements are as follows: "The whole world was watching the peace talks. Unfortunately, the first round of talks in Islamabad did not yield results. Our stance is that the peace talks should continue. The ceasefire environment needs to be maintained and continued.

It is not right to expect results in the first round. The Strait of Hormuz, the issue of nuclear weapons, and the humanitarian losses and compensations that have emerged as a result of this aggression are all topics with many dimensions. After the unjust and illegitimate attack by the USA and Israel, serious consequences emerged in terms of both regional and global security."
