In the Hendek district of Sakarya, after the Meteorology's precipitation warning and with temperatures dropping, the season's first snowfall was effective in high areas. The snow, which began during the night, quickly covered Çiğdem Plateau at an elevation of about 1,500 meters and Dikmen Plateau at an elevation of 1,725 meters with a white blanket. Winter scenes were recorded by citizens with mobile phone cameras.
The first snowfall of the season was effective in the high parts of Hendek district in Sakarya. Çiğdem and Dikmen plateaus were covered with a white blanket after the precipitation that started during the night.
TEMPERATURE DROPPED, SNOW STARTED
Following the precipitation warning from the General Directorate of Meteorology, snowfall began in the high parts of Hendek as air temperatures dropped.
