A terrorist attack was carried out on the TUSAŞ facilities in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara. Following the attack, which is reported to have been carried out by a suicide bomber, clashes broke out in the area.

FIRST STATEMENT FROM DEM PARTY REGARDING THE TUSAŞ ATTACK

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated in his announcement that there were martyrs and injured individuals. The first statement from the DEM Party regarding the treacherous attack also came. DEM Party Group Deputy Chairman Sezai Temelli, in his statement at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, noted that the timing of the attack is significant.

Temelli said: "We are very saddened. Once again, our people have died. I wish God's mercy upon the deceased and urgent healing for the injured. We should not only look at this incident within the scope of this event. In this country, for the past few weeks, a very important discussion has actually been ongoing. A large part of these discussions responds to the expectations of the Turkish society. Because for a long time, while we want to escape from this war, this violence, and these deaths, we are faced with such an incident.

The timing is significant. The provocation is evident from all sides.
