Fırat Sarı's statement, one of the leaders of the organization that provided unfair profits by transferring babies to contracted hospitals in Istanbul and caused their deaths through negligent behavior, has emerged. The suspect Sarı stated in his testimony, "When I was studying at the medical faculty, I was sentenced for membership in the PKK organization and spent about 5 years in prison. After prison, I returned to my school, graduated, and completed my education." The investigation into the gang that provided unfair profits by transferring babies to contracted hospitals in Istanbul and intentionally caused their deaths through negligent behavior has been completed, and an indictment has been prepared. The indictment was sent to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for evaluation. The indictment was prepared by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and sent to the Bakırköy 22nd High Criminal Court. "I SPENT 5 YEARS IN PRISON"While the court's review process of the indictment continues, the statement of Fırat Sarı, one of the organization leaders, has emerged. Fırat Sarı, a doctor and the owner of Medisense company, stated in his testimony that he did not want to benefit from the effective remorse provisions, saying, "I graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. When I was studying at the medical faculty, I was sentenced for membership in the PKK organization and spent about 5 years in prison. After prison, I returned to my school, graduated, and completed my education. After completing my mandatory service for 3 years in Bingöl Kiğı district, I worked in various hospitals in Istanbul. I established Medisense Health Services about 7-8 years ago. I am the 100% shareholder. I earn my living by practicing medicine," he said. "EVERYTHING IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROCEDURE"Regarding the accusations against him, Fırat Sarı stated, "The claims of insufficient nurses working in the neonatal intensive care unit, babies being 'missing' due to neglect, assigning external on-call nurses, and arranging lists as if I was working in the intensive care unit while working in another department of the hospital are all untrue. There are no babies that are 'missing' due to neglect as claimed. Normally, there should be 1 nurse for every 4 babies in the intensive care unit. A full-time doctor should be working. I am the full-time doctor. Everything is in accordance with procedure," he stated. "THE MONEY I SENT IS FOR MOTIVATION PURPOSES"When examining Fırat Sarı's account movements regarding the incoming money, he said, "The money sent by my company and me, as I explained before, is for motivation purposes sent to the employees working at the hospital I provide consultancy to." "I DID NOT GIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO ANYONE"Sarı stated in his testimony, "It is out of the question for me to give instructions to any doctor, nurse, or any healthcare worker working in hospitals. I never told anyone to present a non-intubated baby as intubated, to present a level 1 baby as level 2 or 3, or to show treatments that were not applied as if they were applied, including hospital accounts. Again, I did not give any instructions regarding the frequent mention of curosoft or any other drug being hidden, taken out of the hospital, sold outside, or shown as applied to a patient while not being applied," he said.
