The Turkish Football Federation issued a get well message for former national football player Serhat Akın, who was attacked with a firearm last night and injured in the leg.

Former athletes of Fenerbahçe and the National Team, football commentator Serhat Akın was injured in the foot as a result of an armed attack late at night. A get well message was sent to Serhat Akın from the TFF.

In the statement, it was said, "We are saddened to learn that our former national team player Serhat Akın was injured in an armed attack. We strongly condemn this heinous attack and send our best wishes to Serhat Akın, who is being treated in the hospital, hoping for his swift recovery."
