It was claimed that CHP's Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer was arrested as part of a terrorism investigation and that a trustee was appointed to the municipality. While these developments have caused a significant public reaction, former Esenyurt Mayor Necmi Kadıoğlu's statement made two days ago, "We will return to Esenyurt," sparked controversy. In response to the backlash, AK Party member Kadıoğlu stated, "The forced and intentional interpretations made do not reflect the truth."

'Terror organization membership' allegations have led to the appointment of a trustee in place of Esenyurt Municipality Mayor Ahmet Özer, while the former AK Party Mayor of the municipality, Necmi Kadıoğlu, drew attention with a post he made on X two days ago.

Addressing you from these beautiful lands of our country, we will return to Esenyurt! Continue to follow..."

'We will return to Esenyurt' post that sparked controversy, former Mayor breaks his silence

HE RESPONDED AS THE CONTROVERSY GREW

AK Party member Kadıoğlu responded to criticisms that he had prior knowledge of the operation and signaled it with these two posts; "The post I made on social media platforms is aimed at reminding the services we carried out in various parts of our country during our term as mayor, and it has no relation to the events happening in Esenyurt today. The forced and intentional comments made do not reflect the truth."
