The Galatasaray fan father named his son after the former Fenerbahçe star.

The couple living in the Safranbolu district named their son, who was born on October 15, after the national football player they admire, "Arda Güler."

"HE WILL GROW UP LIKE ARDA GÜLER"

Bilal Güler, 27, told an AA reporter that they named their child after Arda Güler because he is a national and successful football player. Stating that he is a Galatasaray fan, Güler said, "We want Arda Güler to achieve great things. We support Arda because of his successes and want to be by his side. Hopefully, our son will also become a successful football player like him. After his education, he will grow up like his brother Arda Güler." he said.

Damla Nur Güler, 24, also expressed that her husband really wanted to name their son Arda Güler. Güler explained that during her pregnancy, her husband put a picture of Arda Güler on the screen photo of his phone, saying, "Just like Arda Güler, my son also has two dimples on his face. I hope he will be a good child." The Güler couple also expressed that they are expecting a signed jersey from Arda Güler.
