Teams affiliated with the Bafra District Gendarmerie Command, during their patrol activities to monitor weddings in the Dededağı neighborhood, determined that both the groom and the bride were underage. While the Bafra Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation regarding the matter, the 14-year-old bride I.G. has been placed under protection.

FAMILY MEMBERS IN CUSTODY

Upon the prosecutor's instruction, gendarmerie teams detained the bride's mother G.G, father I.G, the groom's mother H.D., and father O.D., along with the 17-year-old groom S.E.D. The suspects were taken to the gendarmerie station for processing, and the investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
