The announcement regarding the recruitment of 9,690 contracted specialist non-commissioned officers by the Gendarmerie General Command has been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, a total of 9,690 contracted male specialist non-commissioned officers will be recruited for the Gendarmerie General Command, including 9,075 gendarmes, 5 boat commanders, 500 medics, 100 communication specialists, and 10 aviation sub-branches. Applications can be made online between October 7-21, 2024.

Candidates must be Turkish citizens and male, have a minimum score of 50 in the 2023-2024 KPSS exam, be between the ages of 20-27 (born between January 1, 1997, and January 1, 2005), not have a report stating unfitness for military service, have a height measurement between 167 cm and 210 cm, and meet the health report and security investigation requirements.
