The results of the general chairmanship primary held in 81 provinces in the YENİ Party have been announced. While 639,454 party members voted at 2,502 ballot boxes set up across Turkey, turnout in the election was announced as 81.3 percent. General Chair Özgür Özel received all valid votes and won the support of the members.
YENİ Party announced the results of the general chairmanship primary election held in 81 provinces today.
In the statement signed by Deputy Chairman in Charge of Organizations Ensar Aytekin and Deputy Chairwoman in Charge of Legal and Election Affairs Gizem Özcan, it was reported that members voted at 2,502 ballot boxes established in 81 provinces.

The statement included the following statements: "In YENİ Party, the members have the say, the decision, and the authority! We completed our General Chairmanship primary election with great democratic participation at 2,502 ballot boxes established across Turkey. According to the results finalized by being entered into the system so far, 639,454 of our members went to the polls and voted with an 81.3 percent participation rate. Our General Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel, who received all valid votes, has stepped into the new period with great confidence with the record support of our members. We sincerely thank all our members who went to the polls and demonstrated their will, and our organization, which worked in this great and historic democracy festival."
