Although the probabilities that the Federal Reserve (Fed) will keep the policy interest rate unchanged next month are being factored into pricing, expectations remain strong that there will be a total reduction of 50 basis points in the two meetings scheduled by the end of the year, with 25 basis points each. Analysts noted that the data agenda is calm both domestically and internationally today, stating that technically, the resistance level for the ounce price of gold is at 2,680 dollars, while the support level is at 2,640 dollars.
