12-year-old Melek Göçer, who was injured in the face after a gun that fell to the floor at a house in the Ceyhan district of Adana discharged, could not be saved. Melek's uncle Hüseyin Can B., who was taken into custody, and his wife Gülizar B. were arrested. The bullet that went off when the gun inside a suitcase taken down from the closet fell to the floor had hit the little girl's face.
There has been a new development in the investigation into the incident in Ceyhan in which 12-year-old Melek Göçer lost her life. The uncle and his wife who were at home during the incident were arrested by the court to which they were referred.
PISTOL THAT FELL FROM SUITCASE DISCHARGED
In a detached house in Fatih Sultan Neighborhood, a suitcase was taken down from a closet a few days ago. As a result of the pistol inside the suitcase falling to the ground and discharging, the bullet hit 12-year-old Melek Göçer in the face.
LITTLE MELEK COULD NOT BE SAVED
Melek Göçer, who was seriously injured, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital where she was taken.
UNCLE AND HIS WIFE ARRESTED
Following the incident, the uncle Hüseyin Can B. and his wife Gülizar B., who were at home, were taken into custody. After procedures at the police station, the couple was referred to the courthouse and was arrested and sent to prison by the court.
