Three siblings who were poisoned by carbon monoxide gas leaking from a stove they lit at night in Gaziantep have lost their lives. After the autopsy procedures, the siblings were laid to rest side by side as they were sent off on their final journey.

A heartbreaking incident occurred in the Oğuzeli district of Gaziantep. The couple, Muhterem and Hüseyin Güneş, who reside in the Çaybaşı neighborhood and make their living through farming, wanted to wake their son who was sleeping in the room with a stove burning coal in the morning hours.

When the children did not wake up, the parents reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the three siblings were poisoned by carbon monoxide gas leaking from the stove and were taken to Abdulkadir Yüksel State Hospital by ambulances. The siblings, Arif, Yusuf, and Mehmet Fatih Güneş, who were under treatment, could not be saved. The lifeless bodies of the three siblings, who had a sister as well, were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue for autopsy.

The funerals of the siblings Arif, Yusuf, and Mehmet Fatih Güneş were brought to the Çaybaşı neighborhood after the autopsy procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue. A funeral prayer was held for the siblings in the neighborhood cemetery. Oğuzeli Mayor Bekir Öztekin, along with the siblings' relatives and local residents, attended the funeral. After separate funeral prayers, the three siblings were buried side by side in the neighborhood cemetery.
