THE MOST HEARTLESS GANG TURKEY HAS SEEN

In Istanbul, it has been revealed that 22 of the 47 suspects, who were acting in concert with the 112 Emergency Service, sent infant patients to the neonatal units of private hospitals they had agreements with, obtaining unjust profits and causing the deaths of some infants. The indictment prepared by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office was completed on Thursday. In a statement from the Ministry of Health, it was noted that legal proceedings have been initiated against the hospitals cooperating with the gang.

STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

The statement from the Ministry included the following: The individuals identified as part of the 'neonatal gang,' who transferred emergency infant patients to pre-agreed private hospitals' neonatal units, causing their deaths and obtaining unjust profits, were detected in an operation conducted in May 2023 in cooperation with the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate and the Police Department, resulting in legal actions and the matter being referred to judicial authorities. As a result of the investigation initiated by our Ministry regarding the activities of the mentioned hospitals, legal sanction processes have been activated.
