In the Kepez district of Antalya, 2 truckloads of waste materials and garbage were removed from the apartment of recently deceased retired teacher Uğur Bağcı. Following a request from the residents of the building, municipal teams cleaned and disinfected the apartment.
A man who recently passed away in Antalya had 2 truckloads of waste materials and garbage removed from his apartment.
TWO TRUCKLOADS OF GARBAGE REMOVED FROM THE APARTMENT OF THE DECEASED TEACHER It was learned that the apartment, located on the ground floor of a building on 2416 Street in the Yeni Mahalle district of Kepez, belonged to retired teacher Uğur Bağcı, who was recently placed in a nursing home upon the request of the apartment residents. The garbage and waste materials in the apartment were cleaned by municipal teams. Following the recent passing of the homeowner and the bad odors coming from the apartment, the Kepez Municipality Cleaning Works Directorate teams began work in the apartment upon the residents' application. Approximately 2 truckloads of waste materials were removed, and the house was later cleaned and disinfected by the teams.
"THERE IS EVERYTHING INSIDE THE HOUSE" Yeni Mahalle Muhtarı Murat Duran stated that there were waste and garbage materials previously collected by the homeowner inside the apartment, saying, "There was an elderly man here. We had placed him in a nursing home. But he passed away, and with the support of our municipality, we are clearing the garbage house. The inside is very bad; there is everything inside the house. We are cleaning the house with teams from the police and other units. He was collecting items from around before. There is everything inside the house, collected from the garbage and stuffed inside the house," he said.
Kamile Çetin, one of the neighbors, stated, "I have been living here for 20 years. Uncle Uğur had fallen ill and was unable to take care of himself. We had placed Mr. Uğur in a nursing home with the support of the municipality by applying to the necessary places. Just when everything seemed to be going well, Mr. Uğur passed away. The house was left full of garbage. Now we are having the house cleaned," she expressed.
