The identities of our martyrs have been revealed! The words of the father of the taxi driver who was martyred at TUSAŞ are heartbreaking.

Ankara was shaken today by a heinous terrorist attack. TUSAŞ, which is carrying out many important projects, including the National Combat Aircraft KAAN, which will position Turkey among the few countries capable of producing 5th generation aircraft, was attacked by two terrorists. The terrorists struck during the shift change of TUSAŞ personnel. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated that the attack occurred at 15:26 and that gendarmerie and police units immediately moved to the scene, providing information that two terrorists, one of whom was a woman, were killed in the statements made in front of TUSAŞ. Yerlikaya said, "The identification process and fingerprint analysis are ongoing. As soon as these are determined, we will provide information about their identities and which terrorist organization was responsible." In the treacherous attack, 22 TUSAŞ personnel were injured. President Cevdet Yılmaz stated regarding the injured, "7 of our police officers are injured, but their conditions are good. A large part of them is being kept in our hospitals for precautionary reasons. They are under observation just in case. We have one seriously injured, and the others have mostly come to our hospitals with minor injuries. These brothers will be discharged when our medical staff is sure."

IDENTITIES OF THE MARTYRS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

The identities of those martyred in the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ have been announced. In a statement from the Ministry of Interior, it was reported that machine engineer Zahide Güçlü, quality control officer Cengiz Coşkun, employee Hasan Hüseyin Cambaz, security officer Atakan Şahin Erdoğan, and taxi driver Murat Arslan were martyred in the attack.

SHE WAS MARTYRED WHILE GOING TO RECEIVE THE BIRTHDAY FLOWER SENT BY HER HUSBAND

It was learned that martyred engineer Zahide Güçlü (37) had her birthday today and that her husband sent her flowers. It was reported that Güçlü was caught in the middle of the terrorist attack while going to the checkpoint to receive the flower. Güçlü, who was injured in the incident, could not be saved despite the intervention at the hospital.

THEY MARTYRED THE TAXI DRIVER BEFORE THE ATTACK

It was determined that the taxi driver Murat Arslan, whose taxi was used by the two terrorists who attacked TUSAŞ, was killed and placed in the trunk of the vehicle. In the armed attack on TUSAŞ, it was established that the two terrorists, one of whom is a woman, used a taxi with the license plate 06 JMT 07, boarded the taxi from a stop in the Kahramankazan district, and martyred driver Murat Arslan before the attack, placing his body in the trunk. The terrorists then went to TUSAŞ by taxi and carried out the attack by getting out of the vehicle with long-barreled weapons at the entrance gate.

The father of martyred taxi driver Murat Arslan, Mahmut Arslan, said, "They got in the car from the stop. When they arrived at TUSAŞ, they committed a massacre. They put my son in the trunk of the vehicle and shot him in the back. I still haven't seen my son."

Murat Arslan's friend Rasim Can Oraz expressed that they were sad and angry due to the attack on TUSAŞ, saying, "We lived as tenants in Murat's house for 2 years. They were good people, good tradesmen. They did not harm anyone. We are sad."

CENGİZ COŞKUN, A QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER FROM SİVAS, WAS MARTYRED IN THE TUSAŞ ATTACK

It was determined that Cengiz Coşkun, a quality control officer who lost his life in the terrorist attack on the TUSAŞ campus in Ankara, was registered in the population of Hıdırlık village in the Divriği district of Sivas. It was learned that family members had been residing in Ankara for a long time. Cengiz Coşkun, who is married to dentist Aysan Süngü Coşkun, has a child named Alaz. It was reported that Coşkun's funeral would be buried in Ankara.

Erdem Akgüner, the brother of an employee who went to a safe area during the terrorist attack at TUSAŞ, said, "Initially, there was a heavier conflict. I saw on the internet that this was the place where my brother worked, and at that moment, some places were being shot at. The left side of the area being shot at was also the office where my brother worked. When we first heard the news, before seeing these images, I thought maybe it was a drill and called my brother. When I couldn't reach my brother, I called Orhan. My brother said there was a conflict here, and a bomb had just exploded. Then the phone went dead. When the phone went dead, I couldn't reach my brother again. My brother called me back from another phone. He said they were in a safe area but that there were injured people inside. God willing, may our country never experience such things again."

"WE TOOK POSITION, WE ARE INSIDE"

Orhan Akdündar, the brother of an employee who went to a safe area in the TUSAŞ building, said, "We have been here since 17:00. My brother is here. We had contact around 15:30-16:00. He said we took position, we are inside. He said there was an explosion in the human resources building where we were. He said they were waiting for them to take us and move to a safe area. We spoke again after half an hour, 45 minutes. He said they took us to a safe area."
