While security forces continue their efforts to capture 30-year-old Arif Sefa Özdemir, who has been identified as having carried out the attacks, a statement regarding the incident also came from the Governor's Office.

CARRIED OUT ATTACKS AT THREE SEPARATE LOCATIONS
In the incidents that occurred in the İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar, armed attacks took place at three separate locations. A total of 8 people lost their lives in the attacks in the villages of Yukarıtandır, Ayazini, and Kıyır.
According to initial findings, the attacker opened fire on 3 women on the road in Yukarıtandır village. It is assessed that the suspect, who then moved away from the area, killed 3 people in a vehicle in Ayazini village and 2 people in another vehicle in Kıyır village.
THE SUSPECT'S NAME IS ARİF SEFA ÖZDEMİR
It was determined that the suspect who fled after the attacks was 30-year-old Arif Sefa Özdemir. While the suspect's photograph was distributed to security forces, an operation was launched to capture him.
FLED IN A RED VEHICLE
It was reported that the suspect fled in a red light commercial vehicle after the attacks. Teams continuing their work on the escape route are also conducting searches in neighboring provinces to capture the suspect.
SEARCH OPERATION IN THREE PROVINCES
While it is assessed that the suspect may have fled toward Kütahya, security forces in Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, and Eskişehir have been put on alert. The investigation into the incident and efforts to capture the suspect are ongoing.

Meanwhile, the Afyonkarahisar Governor's Office also issued a statement regarding the incident. In the statement, it was noted that 8 people lost their lives and 1 person was seriously injured in the armed attacks, and it was reported that relevant institutions are continuing their work in coordination to shed light on the incident in all its aspects. It was recorded that the judicial process is being carried out meticulously under the coordination of the Afyonkarahisar Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
