With the new year, the increase in vehicle inspection fees has caused drivers to rebel. Drivers, who are in a difficult situation due to rising costs and economic conditions, are reacting to this situation on social media. Tüvtürk announced the vehicle inspection price list for 2025. Accordingly, an increase of the revaluation rate (%43.93) has been applied to the inspection fees of all vehicles valid in 2024. This situation has caused great unrest among vehicle owners. The new price list on the website is as follows: - Car, Minibus, Pickup, Special Purpose Vehicle, Off-Road Vehicle, Trailer, and Semi-Trailer Inspection Fee: Increased from 1,821 TL to 2,620 TL. - Bus, Truck, Tow Truck, and Tanker Inspection Fee: Set at 3,543.60 TL. A REACTION TO THE SERVICE FEEA warning in Tüvtürk's new price list also drew attention. In the explanation under the "Vehicle Inspection Fee Payment" section, it stated, "Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, and cash at all our stations. For transactions made with a credit card or debit card, the service fee determined by the service provider according to legal regulations is added to the payment amount," which has become a separate topic of discussion. Vehicle owners, who already have to pay high fees, emphasized that there should be no service fee. AUCTION OF VEHICLE INSPECTION STATIONS ON JANUARY 10The 20-year auction for vehicle inspection stations will take place on January 10. Due to the clauses in the specifications, no participants are expected other than Tüvtürk. The conditions in the specifications are: • Must have been an operator/sub-operator in the vehicle inspection sector for at least 5 years. • Must have conducted inspection operations for at least 1 million vehicles.
