STRIKING DETAILS IN SARP YALÇINKAYA'S STATEMENT
According to the details in the indictment, Sarp Yalçınkaya, the owner of Teco Akaryakıt, stated in his testimony given on October 3, 2025, with a request for effective remorse, "After being released from the penal institution, I want to give a statement regarding the matters I will mention about Murat Gülibrahimoğlu and other issues I will refer to, as I have had enough opportunity to remember the past and by studying my own notes."
"HE WAS VERY CLOSE TO OKTAY KAYNARCA"
Yalçınkaya conveyed this striking statement; "The person named Emel MÜFTÜOĞLU was one of Murat's closest friends. They were going to Bulgaria and Cyprus. A few times, Emel MÜFTÜOĞLU and her family sent things from Izmir to Istanbul. Murat GÜLİBRAHİMOĞLU was also very close to Oktay KAYNARCA. They would meet constantly."
ANOTHER STRIKING STATEMENT BELONGS TO SERVET YILDIRIM
Another striking confession in the indictment belongs to Servet Yıldırım, the driver of Hüseyin Köksal from İBB subsidiary Spor A.Ş.
Yıldırım, who claimed that Murat Gülibrahimoğlu had a villa in Beykoz, said in his statement according to the indictment; "In this villa, Murat, Hüseyin, Murat Kapki, Emel Müftüoğlu, and some people I do not know played gambling (...)" "(...) Murat Gülibrahimoğlu had a very good relationship with the General Manager of Vakıfbank. If there was a need to obtain a loan from Vakıfbank, Murat Gülibrahimoğlu was helping. I do not have clear information about whether these loans were irregular or in accordance with the procedure. Hüseyin Köksal, Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, and the General Manager of Vakıfbank met several times at Bebek Hotel. Hüseyin Köksal wanted to obtain a loan from Vakıfbank. He secured this loan through Murat Gülibrahimoğlu. In return, Murat Gülibrahimoğlu said he would use 15,000,000 of the loan for 2 months. This money was sent to Murat Gülibrahimoğlu after the loan came, but I do not know whether this money was returned or not (...)"
