The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to update the lists of 'Counterfeit and Adulterated Foods' and 'Foods That Will Endanger Health'. These updates have revealed one by one the companies selling seed oil under the claim of olive oil, while also showing that the claims on the packaging of five cheese brands do not reflect the truth.
CHEESE FAT CONTENTS ARE LOW
It has been determined that seed oil is used instead of olive oil, and that the fat contents in cheeses are low. It has been found that cheese brands such as Lokma, Zeki Kuloğlu, Tarım Dünyası, Boyacıoğulları Ömür, and Özlüce have committed fraud.
The olive oil brands that have been adulterated are as follows:
- Özlüce
- Çağlarca
- Gold Ayvalık
- Yeni Vakıf Gurme
- Dalından Ayvalık
- Gemlik
- Gerçek Gemlik Ayvalık
- Yeni Ayvalık
- Grand Yayla
- Gold Efe
- Ayvalık Birlik
