The interest of industrialists in Çerkezköy and Kapaklı is increasing.

Located approximately 90 kilometers from Istanbul, the districts of Çerkezköy and Kapaklı in Tekirdağ can be reached in about 45 minutes thanks to the North Marmara Highway. This proximity makes the region attractive for industrialists looking to escape the high costs and congestion in Istanbul.

The Halkalı-Kapıkule High-Speed Train Line stands out as one of the most important projects that enhance the industrial potential of the region. According to the statement by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the Çerkezköy-Kapıkule section of the line is planned to be completed in August 2025, while the remaining part is expected to be finished by the end of 2026. This project also forms an important part of the Iron Silk Road that extends from London to Beijing.

77 THOUSAND PEOPLE EMPLOYED IN THE REGION

Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone (ÇOSB) and Kapaklı Organized Industrial Zone (KOSB) form the cornerstones of the region's industrial infrastructure. ÇOSB hosts 306 industrial enterprises operating on an area of 1234 hectares. Approximately 77 thousand people are employed in these facilities.

MAJOR PROJECT ON 100 ACRES OF LAND

One of the newest industrial investments in the region is the Lonca Industrial Centers developed by Gönültaş Yapı Yatırım A.Ş. The project is designed as a modern industrial site on a 100-acre land, with 50 acres of closed area and 20-meter-wide roads. The shops range in size from 500 square meters to 2500 square meters and are suitable for storage, production, and logistics activities. The first phase of construction has been completed.
