The internationally sought drug trafficker Daniel Sobotta was arrested in Istanbul.

Daniel Sobotta, who is internationally wanted for the crime of 'Drug Trafficking' under the Diffusion Message (Urgent Arrest Message) issued by Germany, was captured in the Şişli district of Istanbul.

OPERATION KUYU-39 IN ISTANBUL

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared a post on his social media account regarding the matter. Stating that they are capturing the wanted individuals one by one, Yerlikaya used the following expressions:

"Daniel Sobotta, who is internationally wanted for the crime of 'Drug Trafficking' under the Diffusion Message (Urgent Arrest Message) issued by Germany, was captured in Istanbul during the operation 'KUYU-39.'

Through international cooperation, the coordination of our security forces, their determination, and resolute stance, we are capturing individuals wanted under the red diffusion message one by one.

CAPTURED IN ŞİŞLİ

As a result of joint efforts carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Narcotic Crimes Division and the Human Smuggling and Border Gates Branch Directorates, coordinated by the Interpol-Europol Department and the Directorate General of Migration Management; Daniel Sobotta, who was found to be communicating with other individuals through a communication application on an encrypted mobile phone and selling various drugs to make a significant profit, was captured in the Şişli district of Istanbul.
