The Israel threat was brought to the agenda at the TBMM podium! Critical call from the MHP.

The Israel threat was brought to the agenda at the TBMM podium! Critical call from the MHP.

MHP Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir stated in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly that Israel's attempts to invade Syria mean that Turkey will soon enter into a physical contact line with Israel. Özdemir also said, "We must urgently establish our engagement rules."

The Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Kayseri Member of Parliament İsmail Özdemir stated, "Israel has approached Damascus up to 20 kilometers. This situation also means that we will enter into a physical contact line with Israel in the near future. Under these conditions, we must urgently determine our engagement rules."

İsmail Özdemir, the Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Kayseri Member of Parliament, spoke on behalf of the MHP Group during the ongoing budget discussions in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly regarding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Presidency of the European Union, and the Turkish Accreditation Agency.

WARNED ABOUT THE ISRAEL THREAT

Özdemir, who drew attention to Israel's advance in Syria, stated that this situation could lead Turkey to enter into a physical contact line with Israel.

Özdemir said, "On the other hand, there must be vigilance against Israel's aggressive actions in Syrian territory, which are carried out without any justification or legal basis. According to information from the field, it seems that Israel, which bears the crime of genocide originating from Gaza, will not limit its invasion attempts in Syria to just the Golan Heights. If we pay attention, Israel has approached Damascus up to 20 kilometers. This situation also means that we will enter into a physical contact line with Israel in the near future," he expressed.

"ENDED WITH THE FALL OF THE ASSAD REGIME"

Özdemir stated, "Every oppressed person in distress turns their eyes to us; any country that will take a step must take Ankara's stance into account," and added: "Moreover, our decisions and will have reached a stage far beyond mere recommendations, and nations and states that see their writings alongside ours have emerged. The geographies that have a history with us but have had their living spaces drawn with a pen for the last century show that the price has been paid and the history written in blood is too narrow for the current stage. Therefore, while we move with great momentum towards our goal of a Turkish and Turkey Century, we must also take the necessary steps for the institutional development brought by the Presidential Government System at the right time. Instead of merely facing the approaching great crisis, we must be prepared for the aftermath of this crisis and ensure that our Ministry of Foreign Affairs' institutional structure is ready for continuous development. The conflicts that began on November 27 in the west of Aleppo, Syria, ended with the change of hands in Damascus and the fall of the Assad regime after an 11-day period.

PKK/YPG PRESENCE IN SYRIA

Additionally, the presence of the PKK/PYD terrorist organization in Tel Rifat and Manbij has been terminated by the Syrian National Army and Joint Forces. Currently, the Syrian National Army continues its advance towards the Tel Abyad region. Furthermore, the struggle against the PKK/PYD terrorist organization continues with some tribes and other elements around the Deir ez-Zor region. At this stage, the opposition has become the regime itself, and the regime has fled from Syria.

Our hope is for the political process to begin as soon as possible and for Syria, with which we share the longest border, to achieve lasting peace and tranquility. In this context, it is essential to preserve three fundamental principles in the upcoming period. These are the protection of Syria's territorial integrity, the preservation of the demographic structure before the civil war, and the prevention of terrorist organizations, especially the PKK/PYD, from gaining legitimacy. Thus, with the political solution to be achieved, a Syria governed by the will of its citizens can attain the hoped-for climate of peace.

"WE SUPPORT THE BUDGET OF OUR MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS"

It has been made possible for our guests in Turkey, as well as for Syrians who have had to leave their countries due to civil war, to return to their lands with dignity and heads held high. It should be known that our enemy in the geography of Syria is the PKK and ISIS, while our allies are our Kurdish and Arab brothers. On the other hand, there must be vigilance against Israel's aggressive actions in Syrian territory, which are carried out without any justification or legal basis. According to information from the field, it seems that Israel, which bears the crime of genocide originating from Gaza, will not limit its invasion attempts in Syria to just the Golan Heights.

If we pay attention, Israel has approached Damascus up to 20 kilometers. This situation also means that we will enter into a physical contact line with Israel in the near future. Under these conditions, we must urgently determine our engagement rules. As we go through one of the most sensitive periods in our republic's history, history reminds us of our obligation to implement our Ankara-centered approach and vision. Our great Turkey ideal will come to life in this way, and the Turkish and Turkey Century will undoubtedly be realized with faith, determination, and resolve. On this occasion, we declare that we will vote positively and support the budget of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Nationalist Movement Party.
