Following claims that US President Donald Trump is preparing to order a large-scale operation against Iran's infrastructure and energy facilities, the Israeli military has gone on high alert. It has been reported that the Tel Aviv administration has raised its defensive preparations to the highest level against a potential retaliation.
As attacks between Iran and the US continue reciprocally, Israel has gone on high alert following claims that the US is preparing to launch a large-scale operation against Iran.
ISRAELI ARMY ON HIGH ALERT
In a report by Yedioth Ahronot newspaper, it was stated that there is heightened activity in the Israeli army, and it was assessed that this comes after reports in the last 24 hours that US President Donald Trump is preparing to order attacks on Iran's infrastructure and energy facilities.
The report stated that the Israeli army has raised its "defensive preparations" to the highest level, but no changes have yet been made to security instructions for the public from the Home Front Command.
"TRUMP IS VERY CLOSE TO GIVING THE ORDER TO ATTACK"
A senior Israeli official, who spoke to Channel 12 television and whose name was not disclosed, said, "Tension is at its peak and ready to explode at any moment."
The Israeli official stated that the Tel Aviv administration believes US President Trump is "closer than ever to a significant attack on Iran, but it has not yet been finalized."
The official said there is no certainty as to whether Trump will approve Israel's participation in attacks on Iran.

Referring to the negotiations between the US and Iran, the Israeli official claimed, "Trump believes the negotiations are a 'waste of time'; he is angry, furious, and disappointed."
In the Channel 12 report, it was noted that the Washington administration may prefer Israel not to participate in potential attacks on Iran in the initial phase.
It was stated that the prevailing view in the Tel Aviv administration is that Iran will retaliate against Israel in response to US attacks, and it is being considered that the Israeli army will join the attacks at a later stage.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The US embassies in Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman had issued security warnings to American citizens, pointing out that regional tensions could increase further due to attacks on Iran.
CBS News, a US broadcaster, had alleged that the US and Israel planned to carry out "one of the harshest bombardment campaigns to date" against Iran's energy infrastructure this weekend.
In a statement made in mid-July, Trump had threatened, "I'll leave energy targets for last, but in the end, we will hit them too. We will hit very hard tonight, tomorrow night, and the night after. Next week, things will be much worse for them. Because next week, it will be the turn of power plants and bridges. If they don't sit at the negotiating table, we will disable all their power plants and bridges."
Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the Iranian General Staff, had also stated that if an attack were carried out on Iran's infrastructure, all infrastructures in the region would be targeted.
