It was reported that the Israeli army identified the location of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, whom they claimed to have killed, using a drone, and images allegedly from the moment of the incident have emerged. The video shows the drone entering a building from the second floor and capturing moments of Sinwar trying to hide among the chairs with a large stick in his hand. It is observed that Yahya Sinwar is missing one arm.

The Israeli army claimed that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed in an operation conducted in Gaza, and that the identification process of the body, which is said to belong to Sinwar, has been completed and confirmed.

The Israeli Army Radio stated that the incident occurred during a targeted ground operation in the city of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip. It was reported that 3 Hamas members were targeted in the operation. According to a report by Israeli state media KAN, based on two Israeli officials, it was confirmed that Sinwar was killed, and the Security Cabinet was informed about Sinwar's death.
