It has been reported that the Israeli security cabinet will convene to discuss the issue of "deepening the occupation in southern Lebanon" due to Hezbollah's attacks. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also stated in a statement yesterday that they have instructed the army to prepare to expand operations in Lebanon, claiming that their goal is to restore peace and security to the communities in the north.
Israeli state television KAN reported that the Tel Aviv administration is discussing a large-scale attack on Lebanon that will begin within a week.

An Israeli security official stated regarding the matter, "The goal is to establish control in southern Lebanon and to set up more outposts," indicating that the Tel Aviv administration is "preparing to deepen the occupation in southern Lebanon."

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz made statements during a situation assessment meeting with senior military officials. Katz mentioned that he and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu instructed the army to 'prepare to expand operations in Lebanon,' claiming that their goal is to restore peace and security to the communities in the north.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was reported that sirens were activated in the north of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon. Subsequently, the Israeli army announced that it had initiated airstrikes across Lebanon, targeting the capital Beirut, and decided to expand its ground occupation in Lebanon with intense attacks from the air and sea.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of people killed in the attacks carried out by Israel on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 687, and the number of injured has reached 1,774. The Lebanese government reported that 822,600 people have applied to shelter centers since March 2.
