In the Kızıltepe district of Mardin, Fahrettin Cevheroğlu, the İYİ Party Kızıltepe District Chairman, who was alleged to have raided the house of his son-in-law Muhammed Nakşioğlu, with whom he had issues, along with a group of about 20 people and beaten him, was released after his procedures at the police station.
THE INCIDENT WAS CAPTURED ON SECURITY CAMERA
The incident occurred on the evening of August 13 in Turgut Özal Neighborhood. According to the allegation, Fahrettin Cevheroğlu went to the house of his son-in-law Muhammed Nakşioğlu, who was having problems with his wife, with a group of about 20 people, including his children and relatives.
It was claimed that the group members jumped over the iron gate, entered the courtyard of the house, and then beat Muhammed Nakşioğlu. The events were captured second by second on the house's security camera.
OBTAINED A BATTERY REPORT AND FILED A COMPLAINT
After the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the area upon a report. Nakşioğlu was taken to the hospital by health teams. After his treatment, Nakşioğlu obtained a battery report and went to the police station with the security camera footage to file a complaint.
Within the scope of the investigation launched, İYİ Party Kızıltepe District Chairman Fahrettin Cevheroğlu was detained.
RELEASED AFTER PROCEDURES AT THE POLICE STATION
Cevheroğlu's statement procedures at the police station were completed. The İYİ Party District Chairman was released after the procedures.
