In the murder case of Narin Güran, the detained uncle Salim Güran appeared in court for the first time and began to give his testimony. When Salim Güran stated that he had not spoken to Nevzat Bahtiyar for two months at the time of the incident, the presiding judge asked him, "Why did you delete your phone calls?" When Güran replied, "I had been in contact with escorts, that's why I deleted them," the judge responded, "You may have spoken to over a thousand escorts. You haven't deleted what you really should have, because the messages from the escorts are still there."

The first hearing in the investigation into the murder of Narin Güran in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır has begun. Salim Güran, the number one suspect in the murder, gave a statement in court.

"I DELETED MY PHONE RECORDS BECAUSE I MET WITH ESCORTS"

Salim Güran stated that he had not spoken to Nevzat Bahtiyar for 2 months at the time of the incident. The presiding judge asked Salim Güran, "Why did you delete your phone calls?" Güran replied, "I met with escorts, that's why I deleted them." The presiding judge then said, "You may have met with more than a thousand escorts, I can't know that, but you haven't deleted what you really should have, because the escort messages are still there."

FROM THE INDICTMENT

In the investigation, among the 12 detained suspects, 4 were mentioned in the indictment prepared by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was stated that Salim Güran, whose vehicle contained DNA and hair samples belonging to Narin, along with his mother Yüksel Güran and his brother Enes Güran, was arrested after confessing that he transported the body to the riverbed with his neighbors, Nevzat Bahtiyar, who was determined to be in the same house at the time of the incident according to HTS and base station records. An aggravated life sentence was requested for the crime of 'intentional murder of a child in participation.'
