When the police arrived at the scene and entered the apartment, they found Ayşegül Eraslan motionless. Health teams confirmed that Eraslan had passed away.
"I WAS A VERY GOOD PERSON"
After the examination conducted by the crime scene investigation teams and the public prosecutor, Ayşegül Eraslan's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue by a funeral vehicle. It was revealed that shortly before her death, Eraslan shared a note on her social media account stating, "There will be things I cannot share, things you do not know, things I have not told you. The only thing I know is that I was a very good person. I have not harmed anyone."
RETURNED FROM EGYPT 2 DAYS AGO
On the other hand, police from the Kağıthane Public Order Bureau determined that Ayşegül Eraslan returned from a vacation in Egypt on Wednesday, March 11, and entered the building where she lived with her suitcase. The police, examining the security camera footage of the building related to the events of the day, identified that actor Sunay Kurtuluş, who played the character "Adnan Yolcu" in the series Yeraltı, entered Eraslan's home one hour before the incident. It was established that Kurtuluş, who stayed inside for a short time, later left the apartment and exited the building.
"SHE SLAPPED ME WHILE JOKING, I REACTED"
Police from the Kağıthane Public Order Bureau, deepening the investigation, took the statement of Sunay Kurtuluş, who last saw Eraslan on the day of the incident, as a "knowledgeable" person. It was learned that Kurtuluş, whose statement was taken at the police station, said he met Eraslan through social media about three weeks ago, visited her home twice, and went for a walk outside once. In the continuation of Kurtuluş's statement, he mentioned that after returning from abroad, they communicated via phone, and upon her request to meet, he went to her home, where they drank tea, and during their joking, Eraslan slapped him, to which he reacted by saying, 'I don't like such playful slaps.'
BLOCKED ME FROM EVERYWHERE AFTER LEAVING THE HOUSE
It was learned that after this incident, while Eraslan went to the room, she stood up and got ready, gifted him a hat, and then left the house. Kurtuluş stated that they exchanged messages and that she blocked him. Following Kurtuluş's statement, it was reported that he left the police station.
HAD ATTEMPTED SUICIDE TWICE IN THE PAST
It was also learned that before her death, Eraslan called her brother and sent a farewell message to a close friend. On the other hand, Hasan Tufan S. (37), an advertising professional and friend of Eraslan, stated in his testimony that his friend was a social media influencer, had made a suicide post from her account, and that Eraslan had no debts or health issues. He also mentioned that Eraslan had attempted suicide by cutting her wrists twice, once a year ago and once a month ago, but these incidents had not been reported to the judicial authorities.
NOTE SAYING "I CANNOT OVERCOME SOME THINGS"
It was discovered during the examination of Ayşegül Eraslan's home, who was reported to have a record for "abusing trust," that a letter and notes written on a white board were found. In the notes, Eraslan wrote, "I have been a very good person for years, I have never done any harm to people, but my heart is broken, I cannot overcome this, I am sorry. Please take good care of my dogs, I cannot get over some things, either I am sensitive or life is really bad, I apologize to my father, I am as lonely as my mother. In this life, I have not received love from either a mother or a father, I have seen a lot of violence."
THREE PHONES SEIZED FROM THE HOUSE
Additionally, three mobile phones believed to belong to Eraslan found in the house were seized for examination.
SHE CUT HER WRIST AND HUNG HERSELF WITH A BELT
In the suicide note shared on social media before her death, it was determined that Eraslan had cut her left wrist before ending her life, resulting in blood on the paper. It was assessed that the cut on the wrist was not deep and did not damage the veins while she was writing the note. It is believed that after writing the note, Eraslan hanged herself with a belt from the staircase in the middle of her duplex home.
