The latest tip-off turned out to be false! There has been no news from Narin Güran for 18 days.

On August 21st, Narin Güran went missing in the rural neighborhood of Tavşantepe. After her family couldn't reach Güran, they reported it to the authorities, and search operations were initiated by 112 Emergency Health, Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK), Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), and Dicle University Search and Rescue (DÜAK) teams. The search operations are still ongoing on the 18th day.

YESTERDAY'S REPORT TURNED OUT TO BE FALSE

The area was scanned with drones to find the 8-year-old girl. Specially trained dogs accompanied the teams who started working in Eğertutmaz Stream yesterday following a report. However, no results have been obtained yet. In the morning, a large number of gendarmerie and AFAD teams arrived in the village. Search operations are still ongoing in the area.

UNCLE ARRESTED FOR PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

Narin's uncle was taken into custody on August 31st. DNA belonging to the little girl was found in his car, and it was determined that his phone was turned off for 1 hour. The uncle, who is also the village headman, was decided to be arrested as a precautionary measure.

SEARCHED AREAS ARE MARKED

Gendarmerie and AFAD search and rescue teams, searched the surrounding areas of the neighborhood, cliffs, stream and reed beds, fields, abandoned areas inside the neighborhood, empty houses, stables, haystacks, and gardens of the houses. Gendarmerie teams checked the vehicles entering and leaving the neighborhood. Gendarmerie Underwater Search and Rescue divers searched the water wells in the neighborhood. The searched points were marked with spray paint.

The friend who last saw the little girl, whose fate is a concern for all of Turkey, spoke. M., a 9-year-old girl, was interviewed with the presence of psychologists. M. said that Narin said "Let's play" and left saying "I'm very tired, let's not play."
