The license plate registration processes can now be carried out through e-Government. The regulation on "The Implementation of Vehicle Sales, Transfer, and Registration Services" has been published in the Official Gazette. With this regulation, the obligation to go to a notary for lost or renewed vehicle plates has been removed. These processes can now be done through e-Government. HOW WAS THE PREVIOUS APPLICATION?In the previous application, owners of lost plates had to perform physical transactions. In the previous application, owners of lost plates would go to a notary to declare that the plate was lost, and then they would have the necessary documents approved at the Traffic Branch Directorate. After these transactions, they could apply to the Drivers' Chamber with the notary-approved plate printing document to obtain their new plates.
