ELDERLY COUPLE DIED IN THE ACCIDENT

The accident occurred last night on the Sakarya-Bilecik D-650 highway in the Hayrettin neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 54 RA 250, driven by Salim Kaba (75), collided with the vehicle in front, which had the license plate 03 BB 288, in an area where a traffic jam had formed due to road construction while heading towards Sakarya. The impact caused the 03 BB 288 vehicle to spin and hit the car in front of it, which had the license plate 06 DBG 559. The car with license plate 54 RA 250, which was reported to be LPG-powered, turned into a fireball. Upon notification of the situation, many health, police, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. In the horrific accident, Saadet Kaba (73) was found in the burning car, while her husband Salim Kaba died in the hospital after being severely injured.
