President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli at the Presidential Complex. The meeting, which lasted for one hour, was expected to address Bahçeli's call regarding PKK leader Öcalan, developments related to the new constitution, and domestic political issues.

President Erdoğan met with MHP Chairman Bahçeli at the Presidential Complex. The meeting, which started at 17:50, will be the first meeting following Devlet Bahçeli's invitation to PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan to the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

The previous meeting was held at MHP leader Bahçeli's home. It is expected that important topics regarding both domestic and foreign policy will be on the agenda of this meeting, which will take place approximately one and a half months later.

Regarding Bahçeli, who has been in the spotlight with his statements about terrorist leader Öcalan, President Erdoğan had stated that there was no disagreement between them. President Erdoğan said, "There is no place for terrorism or politics supported by terrorism in Turkey's future. As the People's Alliance, we are in complete agreement on this issue."
