The meteorology department warned: This time it's coming very badly.

The Meteorology announced the forecasts for October 5-6 by province. Pointing to the upcoming days, it issued an important warning concerning the Marmara Region, including Istanbul, and requested that caution be exercised.

According to the forecasts for October 5, 2024, no heavy rain is expected across the country; however, the Meteorology has given a date and warned many cities, including Istanbul. According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, no precipitation is expected nationwide today. It is predicted that the western parts of the country will be partly cloudy at times, while other areas will be mostly clear and sunny.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 1-3 degrees across the country, with temperatures remaining above seasonal norms. The wind will generally blow from the south and southeast, while in the eastern regions, it will come from the north and northwest at light to occasionally moderate strength.

BE CAREFUL ON MONDAY

The air temperatures, which will be at seasonal norms and clear over the weekend, will start to drop on Monday. With the expected heavy rain in Marmara, temperatures in Istanbul will drop to 23 degrees. Rain will be seen in Marmara, the northern Aegean, and the Western Black Sea. On Tuesday, its effects will diminish.
