During the budget discussions for the Ministry of Interior at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), CHP deputies protesting against the appointed trustees attempted to prevent Minister Ali Yerlikaya from entering, leading to a scuffle. Minister Yerlikaya, caught in the midst of an angry crowd, momentarily vented his frustration at a camera that was filming him.

The TBMM Planning and Budget Commission convened under the chairmanship of AK Party Samsun Deputy Mehmet Muş to discuss the 2025 budget and the Court of Accounts reports with the Ministry of Interior, the General Directorate of Security, the General Command of Gendarmerie, the Coast Guard Command, the Directorate General of Migration Management, and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority.

CHP deputies protesting against the trustee tried to prevent Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya from entering the hall. In those moments, a scuffle broke out as AK Party members intervened. Those who intervened managed to get Yerlikaya into the hall with difficulty, and the events were captured on camera.
