The ministry has added Köfteci Yusuf to the list of "Foods That Pose a Risk to Health."

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has added Köfteci Yusuf, which uses pork, to the list of "Foods That Will Endanger Health." It was claimed that Köfteci Yusuf's name had previously been concealed by a court decision.

KÖFTECİ YUSUF HAD ACCUSED THE MINISTRY

The first statement from Köfteci Yusuf regarding the 'pork' scandal that shook Turkey has arrived. In the statement, it was said, "Pork has never been used in our products," and the ball was thrown to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The statement pointed out that the Ministry did not promptly notify the relevant department of the negative analysis results, stating, "Since the negative results were reported very late in a procedurally improper manner, we are unable to provide the necessary traceability."

In the statement, it was mentioned that a technical error occurred during the sampling process, and it was stated, "No negative results were encountered during the inspections conducted on-site at our production facility by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and the District Directorate following the analysis results that contained irregularities and did not reflect the truth. On the contrary, it was evaluated that our production facility meets hygiene and other suitability conditions."
