The Ministry of Trade continues its inspections. The ministry has decided to withdraw many products that threaten child safety from the market. The ministry has made important warnings regarding certain stationery products, plush toys, and children's clothing items. The withdrawn products have been published through the Unsafe Product Information System (GÜBİS).
WITHDRAWN FROM THE MARKET
The ministry decided to withdraw the product branded "Tuna Fluorescent Marker Ice Cream 5 Colors" from the market due to the risk of small parts causing choking. At the same time, the plush toy named "Blue Plush Toy-Huggy Wuggy" was recalled for not passing mechanical and physical safety tests, as required by toy safety regulations.
THE SALE OF THE JACKET HAS BEEN PROHIBITED
In children's clothing, the printed linen jacket branded "Pufudi" with serial number 22201-1 has been prohibited from being sold in the market due to the risks associated with lead content and cord requirements.
The Ministry of Trade stated that these products could threaten children's health, emphasizing that these hazardous products were withdrawn because they do not comply with safety standards.
