The figures for the Social and Economic Support payments for the month of October have been announced. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş reported that a total of 1 billion 63 million lira in Social and Economic Support (SED) payments has been deposited into accounts this month to support children socially and cover their educational expenses. Minister Göktaş stated that they place special importance on services for children and diversify the services by considering the different needs of children. Expressing that they support children alongside their families and within their social environment with SED, Göktaş noted that they work diligently to ensure that children grow up as individuals who possess national values, are self-confident, educated, and healthy. Minister Göktaş emphasized that they strive to ensure that children can grow up primarily with the care and warmth of their families through family-centered social service models, stating, "We have deposited a total of 1 billion 63 million lira in SED payments into accounts for the month of October to support children socially and cover their educational expenses."
